Cool Ideas over MTN - failure to launch

So did my online application with Cool Ideas for fibre on 8 Oct 2018 - still waiting for installation after being told it takes 2-3 weeks.

According to Cool Ideas, MTN "lost" the application.

Adding to the irritation is that I have had to continuously "pull" feedback from Cool Ideas (not in line with the sparkling recommendations they get).

Anyone with similar experience of Cool Ideas over MTN? Should I even bother pursuing? My only other infrastructure option in my road is OpenServe.

I am in the La Lucia / Durban area. Any other nominations for X over OpenServe ? (or Y over MTN)

Hi there, this is with our GM and MTN aren't coming back to our requests. We are pushing as much as possible.

Just go with Openserve and be done with it

Yeah. Doing that if you mean Cool Ideas over OpenServe. Was hoping to go underground by going MTN - Openserve is overhead cable.

I'm on MTN with Cool Ideas in CPT. Was originally with MTN direct and my shift over to CI was a bit laborious trying to get information out of CI.

End of the day it was worth the effort. MTN as a backbone is pretty rock solid which from what I can see on the forums is a lot better than Openserve.

For those of you following this thread in anticipation ... still nothing ... no temp account, and no feedback on when MTN will come and install. I did get an email from CISP saying they couldn't give me a temp account because my account was inactive (obviously not understanding I have Openserve already).

Oh well... blunt - I really hope you're right...
