Hi,

So going into day 4 with no fibre internet.

My connection has never been stable - the PPOE kept dropping, would either have to reboot the modem or manually disconnect and reconnect the router. After multiple emails and sending logs CISP finally managed to get a TTConnnect technician to come to the site. He logged onto the Planet FRT415N router he changed some settings then set the TP-link router supplied by CISP To dynamic ip and left. I assume this was to take the ISP out the loop to diagnose the connection. Well my internet became even more unstable, but at least it would restore after 5-10sec. Then on 13th it weant dead. Since then no one has taken direct responsibility for the outage. The best that has happened was CISP support member managed to get TTConnect/Terusco person to email me a backup image to restore onto the planet router. This was done but made no difference.

Would anyone on the forms have enough information on setting up the planet router from a reset to get it working or know the settings needed?

At present I feel like exploding at someone or attaching a chain to my towbar and moving some equipment violently from where it currently is.

My first ticket was logged last year in December.

Have attached a screen shot of the tp-link log

I have the same setup... To my knowledge the planet router is just set to bridge mode and all config happens on the tplink. Don't know if anything is setup different for you.

Seems to be on TTConnect side as CISP can't even see any PPOE attempts to login on there side

I'm not too sure if this helps. I live in Aloe Place 1 and my Internet cut off on Wednesday. There was a guy from TT Connect that was working in our POp and the whole complex got cut off cause of it. I managed to find him and he said the POP was really conjectested. Since then, I seemed to have been back up, but I had a few neighbors come up to me asking how I've been in Xbox live.

In terms of Cool Ideas, they didn't have no idea who I was cut cause TT Connect didn't inform them of anything.

Yeap we have back and forth with TTConnect on packet loss across the network, we are busy with them trying to resolve the issues. We don't have anything like this on other layer2 providers, so is just a slow process to narrow down the cause on the network. It seems to be relatively limited to area as only certain PPP sessions are dropping.

It's back up. Decided to go to the POP in my complex to see if someone was there. Turns out there was a technician there and he took out my cable from switch by mistake... good thing I went there.

Speeds are still really bad though. They still keep going up and down :(

For me it was a fault planet router as main cause.

However when tp connect disconnect the port the WAN port still shows activity

The issue isn't limited to one person, we have multiple clients having trouble. TTConnect are at this point not taking any responsibility and we are arranging another meeting between directors to make a decision on the way forward.

What kind of decision? Are you guys thinking of no longer offering good your services to clients who are using TT Connect?
