Well exactly, it's a tough situation to be in. Either we provide a good service or we don't at all as it spoils the reputation at the end of the day.
 
Let's hope it doesn't go that way as my line as well as service from you guys have been nothing short of perfect for the past 6 month's.

Well that actually sucks! You guys are actually an awesome isp, really don't wanna move to someone different.

I'm in Greenstone. My Internet was extremely slow around 12 last night. I couldn't even run a Speedtest last night cause it kept failing. I did a check now. My ping is on 49 when going to a server in Randburg and I'm getting about 12 down and 16 up (I'm on a 20/20 connection) so the internet is still quite iffy for me.

We had an issue with one of our routers at Teraco for about 30mins around that time, are you still having trouble?
 
Dunvegan here as well, something is not working, speedtest was all over the place.
We are through Afrihost, using TT Connect on the 10MB Premium package. Even this morning same thing.
One moment is only getting 2mb down sometimes close to 10mb.
Youtube stream prior to this was buttery smooth and no buffering issues for 1080P streams, last night and today its a hit or miss.
I really hope they sort this out soon.

TTConnect say we are the only ISP having the issue, even though we have multiple peaces of evidence which imply otherwise.
 
Ok, I got a bunch of messages from Greenstone people over night complaining. Unfortunately I can't do anything as I'm not a ttconnect guy anymore, but they do seem to have issues across isp's not just CISP.

I'm not too sure if this is related, but these problem really started to happen after there was a fault in the area about a month ago and it got a lot worse when guys from TT Connect started lying Fibre more down the road (Palliser Road), heading towards Edenglen.

Im still down, been giving Cool Ideas lots of stick but understand that Afrihost and Fredd also have the same issues!!

Yeah unfortunately not much else we can do from our side. Has been a ongoing issue.
 
Thanks, any further update....still down and cant work from home due to this. Spent 1GB of data yesterday due to no connectivity

We will only be able to get an update this morning as soon as TTConnect comes back to us on the numerous tickets we have logged.

I think everyone would be a lot happier if TTConnect had ANY communication skills.
 
Its actually shocking, you'de think that the likes of Afrihost, Cool ideas, SA Fibre would all put the same pressure on these guys but seems they cant do anything and they dont care!! Back to good old Telkom?!?!

All the ISPs are putting pressure on TT connect, resolution is just taking its time.
