Is your Singapore route up with exitlag? I downloaded it and was going to purchase 1 month but my ping to singapore servers was like 250+ my SAFE route was not up so never paid the money.

I was trialing this as well. If I use cloudflare warp + exit lag, i was able to get 140ms to singpore on exit lag according to the icmp test (from cape town), however you can't actually use them together which is a bummer.

Yea so when i originally downloaded it, i was getting around 140-150ms to Singapore while using it but when i redownloaded it, it defaults me via another route, lowest i could get in game was 260 which is basically useless so they never got my money. Someone also mentioned in JHB they had a SACS route, where CT had nothing so Exitlag is useless :/

I see my Exitlag is also not what it used to be

It is 160ms for one route and 195ms for another route, Might as well just play Europe then. This kinda sucks playing with the 120 latency was so nice.

Guess I will have to wait for either Exitlag to fix their things or until CISP gets some luck.

I would also not mind paying the subscription from exitlag to CISP if they can get something working.

No:

> will allow the Softether native protocol, L2TP (without IPSec), and MS-SSTP connections

I have tested it over L2TP which works fine.
i tried setting up via ipad its asking me for a username password and secret ? any idea what secret its asking for ?

Hmm, I don't know - kind of sounds like it's using an IPsec tunnel as that's where you would need a secret/pre-shared key.

I have it set up on my linux desktop and doesn't require any secret if not using IPsec.

@PBCool

Hello! Monthly check in :)

Any news about some capacity to Singapore? Even if its just to aws/vultr.com ?

As previously mentioned we've setup a free VPN server for Cool Ideas customers to connect directly to the UK, should there be a need to avoid local peering arrangements and increased LAG/Ping, such as can happen with gameservers hosted on AWS, or Google cloud.

The server has our best path to the UK, and is independently hosted from our network, but with the best route we can get to the VPN server, with the lowest latency. From there, it's up to your gaming provider....

The hub to connect to is simply called "DEFAULT", when you configure your Softether VPN client.

Please note that the VPN service is only available to CISP clients.
Hi

CISP user here.

Anyone that can assist a person not so clued up in VPN shenanigans in setting this up. I have download the following: SoftEther VPN "Server and VPN Bridge (Ver 4.38, Build 9760, rtm)", created a new setting and have fiddled with the settings, trying to enter the relevant info into various fields, but to no avail.

Thanks in advance

Create a new connection which should look something like the following (key information in red)

Tested it out on Valorant. Not sure why Durban gets the short end of the stick for ping.
Dropped from 190ms on London to 180ms.
