Cool Ideas hit me with an over R500 'downgrade fee' for moving down from 100m to 50m fibre line. R899 pm to R699 pm

They claim its a fee from Vuma, anyone familiar with this?
 
Recent "innovation", apparently from Vumatel side.

I would rather have been given the choice between retaining my original speed at the reduced rate or getting the speed upgrade at the current rate and decided for myself, rather than paying that fee.
 
There is a thread about it in their thread, comes directly from Vumatel

It is exactly that, a fee introduced with the new commercials and line rates unfortunately.
