Only 26k, it was a steal! I guess the price makes more sense now, as it's probably has 223000 miles on the clock and not km.

2.0HDI would make life quite a bit easier with it being same engine fitted in ford's etc.

The main issues that were reported were noisy steering and cv joints. Steering rack can be pretty pricey. I would presume if it needs replacing.

Enjoy - I mean after all these cars are from the period when they were "engineered to be enjoyed".

On my 407 I had the clutch done at French Car Connection in Strand - very nice people and excellent service. They have other branches too. If you have A/C problems then CoolCo AC in Montague Gardens. As for diagnostic FAP(lite) is a very good app for these cars/engines/gearboxes : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fap.c.faplite
 
Some pics!

Comfirmed it is UK import. The service books and manual is for a UK car.

It is high spec model with the Tyre pressure monitor and panoramic roof.

Panoramic roof is working 100%. Extra seats was in the back also. All electric windows and radio working.

Diesel pulls like freight train! Gears is also super smooth.

Issues to fix asap:
Keyfob is broken, have to get this replaced. They key separated from the fob.
Cv joints are beyond gone. This was on the report.
The aircon is not working, so it is going to be pricey this. This was on the report.
Noisy fan belt, only on idle.

Otherwise she drives very nicely, the internal computer check also reports no issues!

Traveled to Romania this weekend for work, on the drive from Bucharest to Brasov, every 4th or 5th car that we saw was a wagon, all kinds of makes and models. Walking around the mall car park showed an even higher percentage, really popular here. Going to take some pictures during the week

The EU really loves their wagons. I don't think the marketing for SUVs and trucks are nearly as aggressive as here and in the US.

Probably just needs a good tune-up needed like replacing the diesel filter, air filter and so forth.

If the injectors are crusty, they can clean them as well with specialized equipment that can blast them clean.
 
Puegeot ownership hitting me card, 20k repairs on 26k car :P

This excludes the idling issue, they did not know about it due to car being warm when I gave it to them.

French affair, it's par for the course. ;)

I'll do it again someday.
 
WBC Brackenfell has a really nice Accord Tourer for sale. 2.4 VTEC, yo! Aside from some light road rash on the bumper, it looks to be in great shape with lots of nice goodies (Xenon lights, Lane Keep Assist, Cruise Control, 5-speed Auto box, towbar, sunroof and heated seats). Really a lot of car for less than R120k
