Oh what a wonderful country we have become...

Winnie Madikizela-Mandela is demanding an apology from two police officers who pulled over her car on the M1 highway because it was weaving recklessly through traffic at 150km/h.

"Who the **** do you think you are," she repeatedly yelled at him and his colleagues, Warrant Officer Jannie Odendaal said on Tuesday.

Odendaal, a member of the Gauteng police flying squad, said the occupants of the vehicle refused to identify themselves.

"I've been working my arse off in the police for 19 years and now I have to apologise to her for doing my job," said Odendaal.

A general in the office of the Gauteng chief of police, Lieutenant General Mzwandile Petros, told Odendaal that he would accompany them to Madikizela-Mandela so they can apologise.

Animal farm quotes.... Go!

way to go to back up your officers. You will accompany them to apologise? hahahaahhaha
How about accompany them to give her the fine. Bring the press as well.

That. If they broke the law, why even allow them to complain unless there was actual misconduct. Just throw the book at them and be done. Why can't this be the year where we start showing brash loudmouthed idiots that the law is the law and finished??????

:twisted:must love the LAW in this NEW country.DO you'r JOB & then say sorry for doing it.**** that

 You mean Winnie will apologise?

[I live in hope]

Wow.....how could anyone ever think that they could even dare to confront our beloved doyenne and not expect any retribution? "sarcasm"

Reality check Winnie Madikizela-Mandela you are not above the law and have proved once again you have no concept of law and order, humility and respect.

*Puts "child of apartheid" sticker back on forehead*
*goes back to work*

...oink

How I wish I was an ANC deployed cadre, I would be above the law. Imagine driving recklessly and getting the cop to apologise for pulling you over?

Oh, the ANC elite flexing muscle again & reminding you that they're above the law. Nice.

LOL....someone suggested that the white powder on her face was from doing a few lines in the back of the car. :D

I wonder...what will happen to the cop if he refuses to say he is sorry?
I hope he does refuse...i would.

If I did 150 on an open, straight highway (in a car designed to cruise at 200) I'd have a big fine. This was in traffic as well ffs!

I think the next time I screw up at work my boss should apologise to me as well..

Why doesnt SA just do what the americans have done for a long time and strap some cameras the police cars? Video will show whose word is worth more, case close in 1 sitting.

Sigh.

When Nelson + Winnie got divorced ... Winnie says "I waant 50 % !!" ... so Nelson sent her to jail for 13 years .... LOL ... We all wish this was true.
