Cops caught on camera 'executing' criminal (WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT)

Today - just this morning I have read about 3 incidents of police being shot and killed/wounded by criminals. If criminals are shooting at you, execute them on the spot. Pump as many bullet holes in them - that is what they deserve. Anyone who disagrees with this view is an idiot and lives in a fantasy world.

The boys who were recently killed by a neighbor who came to the aid of a lady who was being robbed in Durban by about four guys are from my hood in KwaMashu - I know them, we went to school together. The neighbor who killed them did us all a favour - including their parents!

how about them?

Your lack of comprehension is showing

Your idiocy is showing.

Looking in the mirror are you?

no staring into a screen, unable to comprehend the idiocy sitting behind a pc monitor wherever you are.

Come on guys. This is not fuking TK.
Back on topic.

Why is there all of a sudden a flurry of dead cops. Did this incident allow perps to go open season on cops that kill criminals in cold blood.

I think it's just pushed police killings into the spotlight. The figures have been pretty much the same for the last couple of years.

sure, go do something constructive instead of defending criminals.

What you're missing is the fact that I'm not defending criminals, I'm saying that the law should be allowed to take its due course. The minute the cops step outside the law then they become criminals themselves.

And horrifically so, lack of leadership in the top echelons hasn't helped matters much

Save yourself some trouble and just ignore him. He will keep digging for a response. Best way to deal with a troll is to not feed it.

I live in hope that reason will prevail...

As well as the high number of suspect deaths in custody and rampant criminality in the ranks.

I have never agreed that what he did was not legally and perhaps ethically wrong, but desperate times call for desperate measures. I am not sad about what happened, on the contrary i am glad. if he were arrested, despite his criminal history and attempted cop killings, he would be out on bail in a few days.

so was it wrong? sure, do we care that it was in this particular incident? nah.

You should care, as I've said before, the minute we start turning a blind eye to incidents like this we're in deep trouble as a country because then there's no oversight, no need to be bound by the laws, if the cops are allowed to get away with murder then we have a huge problem.

How will we know that incidents like this are not sanctioned hits with the cops involved in criminal activity themselves taking out rival thugs (all good and well you might say) but when does it stop, what happens to innocent people who may witness an execution style killing like this? Do they then become the next target because the cops won't want witnesses?

have you not seen the state of what is going on already? there are already bad seeds doing what you say, does the publics opinion on it change the matter? Do you think they care that you feel that criminals rights should be protected? bottom line is those cops did the right thing, again, not legally, perhaps arguably not ethically, but for the greater good to which they signed up.

But we are largely not bound by laws anymore, I see people nearly kill others in traffic every day (and I'm sure many do kill people) cause they just do not give a F and nobody enforces the law on them. We are becoming more and more lawless...

So you guys will be happy when we have total anarchy on the streets?

That seems to be the prevailing opinion of people outside secure plush gated communities. For them the country fell into deep trouble long ago.

My last maid used to despair at the conditions she had to endure. Her child was raped, every family in her neighborhood had been victims of violent crime committed by violent thugs running rampant. Not skollies but murderers, gangsters, rapists etc with the cops left impotent, overwhelmed and unable to deal with the situation thanks to the justice system that just let them out again if ever arrested.

She may well have been exaggerating but even if half of what she used to say was true it sounded like a warzone. Judging by what people I knew in the security business said about those areas it was pretty accurate. The increasing number of incidents of brutal mob justice also seemed to indicate just how out of control the areas had became. So I doubt her situation is particularly unique. It's one thing to see these kinds of stories in the news but when you see the reality of it, people living this hell day after day it's takes things to another level.

If you'd asked her if she had an issue with cops executing criminals she would have said hell no but then nobody dare ride around that neighbourhood on a moral high horse given your chances of being attacked, tortured and left for dead by guy who just stepped out of jail after serving the absolute minimum sentence for a violent crime.

are you aware of the crime that happens in your middle class / up market area on a daily basis?
