Cops caught on camera 'executing' criminal (WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT)

What do you think would have happened if the police did not open fire? Just a thought!

We'll never know because that's pure speculation

As for your continual bashing about criminal apologists, what you fail to understand is that no one seems to be saying poor criminal, at least I'm not anyway, what I have a serious problem with is the cops taking the law into their own hands and summarily executing someone.

I would also be very interested to see what the response to this execution would have been if the perp had been white, I think there'd be some very different responses and an outcry of a different sort

They do that? Anyone said or claimed they do? Links please!

What I see in this thread is little apathy for the death of the criminal scum bar from a few apologists!

The police's job is to arrest a suspected criminal, if that involves having to shoot someone who is fleeing, I am fine with that (within reason and within the law of course)
It is not the police's job to execute criminals.
I am in no way sad that an idiot who shot at the police is dead.

I am deeply worried in the way he was shot in the head while lying prone on the ground, having been shot twice, with his weapon clearly out of reach. Killing someone in the line of duty is justifiable. This case is very clearly not.
If there had not been any CCTV footage the public would have been none-the-wiser. Just a criminal killed while fleeing the cops.
But it was filmed, and that footage shows a very different picture of cops that have zero regard for the law.

Tip of the iceberg I'd imagine.

Well said!

Maybe they got tired of being used for target practise in recent times. Do you think the criminals have any regard for the law or someone elses life for that matter? These cops got rid of vermin and saved the tax payers a lot of money and quiet a few victims of strife, fear, despair, death, agony, et al...

So you're a bad cop apologist then?

That sort of thing is not permitted in many parts of the world. You can only shoot if the person poses an eminent threat to you or someone else. Running away does not signify a threat.

You should be worried about the state of society as a whole, because this is a symptom of a wider problem.

I think he's trying to understand why people commit atrocities. It's valid.

This particular atrocity or atrocities in general? His posts would indicate that he doesn't have the emotional maturity to fathom either.

Not at all. The cop is now bad in some peoples eyes because he due to excitement, adrenaline rush, anger, et al "executed" the lille scumbag. Now people like you make him out to be the scumbag. Error in judgement?... maybe. Lack of training?....possibly, hard to say! Was he a bad cop? Who knows. Was he a murderer before this incident?..doubtful. Again who knows?

Your lack of comments in the other cop shooting thread by certain vocal individuals in this thread against the perpetrators speaks volumes if not full encyclopedias! ;)

Case in point.

He shot someone in the head lying prone on the ground, with two bullets holes in them already. How is this anything other than an execution.

Describing yourself to a T I see but conveniently left out failures or the lack of ability to comprehend other members posts.

Sure it's an execution. Who said it's not and who cares. My take is he did it because of our failing judicial system and the frustrations of having to deal with these violent murderous criminals who would've been back in the street probably in a week. Now he is gone forever!

So that justifies murder?

Weak rebuttals are also a constant nuisance. Do you think the IPID case against the cops is unfair?
