It is convenient for them, at this time, but I don't believe this is of their making. Belinda Magor was a conjuring in my view for distraction. Hank's Olde Irish was an opportunity yearning for political distraction.

No guy has ever attempted to steal my phone. At Vrede en Lust I would have informed their staff of the theft, and since the estate does have security of their own, have them attend to the matter. If I witnessed the theft, I would have confronted the thief without being physical. It would be up to me to prove ownership of property. Why do you ask?

This incident shows how emotions are exaggerated because of our failed justice system making people take the law into their own hands because the law is so useless.
It’s easy for you to say that in hindsight.

Clip doesn't show the beginning of incident, so who knows what happened.

Remember, the state has to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that assault took place. If the defence can show that the woman did not actually ask the family if it was their phone and just picked it up, then there is a very reasonable doubt. This is because you are entitled to use a non-lethal means of force to protect the rights to your property. If you see someone taking your property, it is entirely reasonable to take some defensive steps. The state will have to show that he acted unreasonably in order to overcome
As I was walking towards the pool I saw a family dining, they were praying before they could eat. I saw a cell phone on the floor, not far from the table and as I went in to pick it up so that I may ask whether or not it belonged to them, I was knocked on the head and fell right into the swimming pool.

“Before I could grasp what was happening I was being beaten and drowned and I kept trying to ask for a chance to explain myself, but I was being sworn at,” she said.

There are some material statements that I think would be quite easy to add to the case. It really wouldn't do well to believe her side of the story if she spouted something like this to the media and then it turns out there wasn't any booking. But on the other hand, evidence of that booking would also very much boost the credibility of the her case. Terminally so IMO.
She said the incident happened on April 16, as she and a friend went to check out the restaurant as a possible venue for a birthday party.
They had also booked the venue for lunch.
“It was not my first time at the restaurant, I am a regular there. On that day I went with my friend because she was planning to host her child’s birthday and needed to see the venue first.
“On our arrival while my friend was shooting content with me in it, I picked up a cellphone and as I was about to ask who it belonged to I was attacked.”

Too many questions here, the idiot definitely over reacted, not sure what the phone would be doing by the pool if the family is sitting at the table, seems BS from both sides.

He got charged with attempted murder. His charges her with malicious damage to property. I assume the phone got damaged when get tacked her or went in the pool so it is ruined. He caused the destruction so makes no sense he claims she caused the damage?

A thing I don't understand is if she fell in the pool why did she not charge in response malicious damage to property to her phone if she dropped it or her own phone fell in the pool.
Myself and my other friend then walked around the place and took some videos, it's a very beautiful place so I was taking pictures and videos.

Where is the device she took some videos of. Surely it landed in the pool?

Pity the CCTV has issue. Now we don't know who lie as both of their stories have holes in it.
 
So, like when a thief is caught at the taxi ranks or townships and beaten to within an inch of it's life or killed? Violence is endemic to that place no matter your color. Some just don't have brains to use common sense.

Our justice system is all about story telling. Truth doesn't matter. All the state capture or Zuma or whatever legal cases. Just people telling stories how they are the victim.
 
This attempted murder will probably also be mentioned in an address made by our president just like the previous Maselpoort pool attempted murder he mentioned without injury to show racism is alive.

Yet the so called investigation of supplying ammunition to Russia to murder thousands of Ukrainians will be kept under wraps.

This country is so screwed up we don't know the definition of murder.
