right, so I installed wow, with all three expansions.

then it did 15GB download.it is complete.

question is, can I somehow copy those update files over to another PC that also did the disk install with all expansions just like me, and will the updater pick up that 15GB

Some help would be appreciated very much

Thanks :)

Just copy folder to another machine. For WoW and SWTor, you don't even need to install. And yes, it'll see that it is up-to-date.
When running for the first time you'll be asked for your account info... that's about it.

Are you certain man? I dont wanna mess with all his settings and stuff

doesnt sound right

That will work hundred cement.
I copied the WoW folder from my Pc to my laptop like that, works without any hassles.

agree 100%. If you are worried about settings and stuff, then simply delete the WTF folder and it will reset itself to default. The WTF folder holds stuff like the account logon name, macros and graphics settings so it can go without harming the actual game itself.

Ok thanks okes. I thought maybe it keeps a record of what has been downloaded vs what is now in the folder and would come up with a miss match or something...
