Corel taskbar problem

Ok so when i first installed windows 7 i pinned corel to the taskbar and i could pin files to the pinned corel shortcut on my taskbar, then one day it would not let me do it which is annoying because i would just right click and left click and the file i wanted would open.

Anyone know how to fix it? I have reloaded corel, short of reloading windows i have no idea.

is the taskbar by any chance locked? that might cause the problem...
