Sanral should ask the Freestate provincial government to create a website for them.

COSATU's fighting tooth and nail to stop the e-toll system, yet all you guys can do is bad mouth them. With these attitudes, i suppose we deserve to be e-tolled. :sick:

Fighting tooth and nail? Please. They've hijacked every protest for labour brokers or some other silliness, completely diluting the protest action and doing more harm than good. Look how Vavi squirms when he's threatened to be taken out of the gravy train. Has nothing about power to the people anymore. They are a parasite.

This statement was issued today, after allegations were made against him. How do you interpret that as squirming?
 
In this cAse the enemy of my enemy is not my friend.
Just because I agree with them on one issue does not mean I like them. I am anti union. They are artificially driving inflation and unemployment higher for their own gain....

I also didn't take part in the protests because of the sideline issues, but at the same time, I fully support their fight against e-tolling.
In this case, they are the lesser of two evils.... by a huge margin.
So let's not get distracted. The big bogeyman in this case is SANRAL and the government.
You can bitch and whine about COSATU another day, which will no doubt come soon enough.

In the case of this thread, you guys are the ones dodging the actual issue which is e-tolling.
 
I don't believe they are really anti etoll. They're just appearing to pander to public sentiment to drum up support, else they'd not conflate the issue with others. They'd rather use their influence in the tripartite alliance to change things, rather than giving ringing endorsements of zuma if they were really anti.
After all, did they not benefit from some of the tenders? On the R21 if I remember right?

Yes and the COSATU member actually resigned from the business to avoid the conflict of interest.
