Bafana have usually had a white player in the starting XI, which is representative. In the last year, I can think of Furman, Sandilands, Nunes and Van Heerden.

This was discussed in another thread, white participation by usually is only now and then in SA soccer. There is more black participation in SA rugby than SA soccer. The point being, whenever a discussion arise on this topic, it turns racist very quickly (added with much entitlement) which can be seen by doing simple Googling on related articles and by also reading the comments.

My opinion is to build sport on merit starting with sports at school and by channelling it through to nationals, our clubs are being neglected due to politics.

Quality black players are coming through the ranks in all the positions, (not just as wings ) and they will very soon start qualifying on merit for the Bokke team as first choice in their position, in much more significant numbers.
