Cosatu: Speed up Zim resolution

Shaka are you for real or are you just stirring the pot.
I find your train of thought to be quite disturbing.

I do not think my train of thought is disturbing, I think my train of thought is honest and reasonable. I cannot agree with most of the people here because their position is not based on justice, it is rather based on protecting their interest, even when they are fully aware their interest are unjust interest and they must conform to logic and justice. By thinking my thoughts are disturbing you not thinking logical, you thinking about protecting your interests and that is wrong. You must base your way of thinking on logic and justice. What did Mugabe do wrong at first? That is the question, what they accuse him of doing is doing justice by taking back the land that was stolen. Is that wrong? Then they started the economic sabotage and sanctions. They recruited the MDC leader to further their agenda. I say it is important that you have logic and justice as your guideline when thinking and analyzing, do not put greed before justice and logic. I invite you to support Mugabe because he is protecting human right of fellow humans against the barbaric forces of the world. The history of those barbaric forces and current actions are there to back my opinion.

What did Mugabe do wrong at first?

I see Syndre beat me to this, but I am going to say it anyway.

Mugabe is guilty of genocide. That ranks him alongside Hitler, Stalin and Shaka

Now what part of this can't you understand?

Why would you disagree with yourself? We however are entitled to disagree with you, and it appears we (mostly) do...

You cannot or you will not?
because their position is not based on justice,
What Justice?
it is rather based on protecting their interest, even when they are fully aware their interest are unjust interest and they must conform to logic and justice.
Are you sure you followed your logic there? My compiler returns warnings about unreachable justice and refuses to build.
By thinking my thoughts are disturbing you not thinking logical, you thinking about protecting your interests and that is wrong.
Well, he has the ability to think, which is a huge bonus over your logical engine....
You must base your way of thinking on logic and justice.
But justice is in the eye of the Beholder... Or is that beer? Would you like a chocolate croissant? They're freshly baked. I like Rice Krispies for breakfast.
What did Mugabe do wrong at first?
There are many good books out detailing Mugabe's sins in detail. Unfortunately you need a functional logic engine and a working pair of eyes to read them - so best you ask your Nanny to read it to you.
That is the question, what they accuse him of doing is doing justice by taking back the land that was stolen.
He is being accused of serious crimes, taking the land is a distant side issue.
Is that wrong? Then they started the economic sabotage and sanctions.
So Robert Mugabe had nothing to do with killing Zimbabwe's Economy (which was booming a decade and a half ago it needs to be said)?
They recruited the MDC leader to further their agenda.
That damn "They"!! We should find them and give them a good spanking!!!
I say it is important that you have logic and justice as your guideline when thinking and analyzing
I think you've mentioned that. Do you like Rice Krispies? I hear they're going for half price in selected stores all over Zimbabwe.
, do not put greed before justice and logic.
When did greed enter the equation??
I invite you to support Mugabe because he is protecting human right of fellow humans against the barbaric forces of the world.
Remarkably he has achieved this by being one of the biggest violators of Human Rights in the world. That is an achievement.
The history of those barbaric forces and current actions are there to back my opinion.
And your opinion is logically less greed and inclusive of Justice, meaning it's correct?

(logic + justice) - (greed + interests) = good opinion. I bet if we square that then we have the perfect theorem to describe a black hole.

That is the question, what they accuse him of doing is doing justice by taking back the land that was stolen.
Yes after sitting on his arse for 20 years doing nothing. Ring any bells?

//Plain fact: SA the only country to do so, endorsed the last election (and the election previous to that, nevermind the intimidation and vote rigging.) That makes 'our crowd' as guilty as bob.

And Mbeki has just done a similar thing in the Nigerian elections (then we wonder africa is a mess.)

Shaka is correct in saying let Muggy carry on, I think Shaka wants him to continue running the country down. Rebuild from the ashes right?

How many terms of office has Mugabe had so far?
He has been President since 1980.
I think they are 6 year terms which makes it his 4th term in office.
Plus he is a octogenarian with questionable mental health, but he wants to stand yet another term in office? Why?
Mugabe's attempt to die in office to be resisted

In other democratic countries you may not stand more than 2 terms in office. Had Mugabe not altered the constitution to allow himself his dictate position, we may have an altogether different position today.
He also simply ignored the result of the referendum in 2000.

I take great prejudice to farmers being removed off their land without compensation. That is going to haunt Zimbabwe for decades still. What comes round goes round I say.
When it comes to farming don't fix what ain't broke.
Zimbabwe had the best farmers in Africa and they threw it away for poverty.
Fools.
I doubt the Chinese will work the land like the English did and with the passion they had for it. The Chinese will delegate ruthlessly and that is if they are even interested in Zimbabwe's Agriculture. More a case of Mineral Exploitation?
Those English farmers loved Zimbabwe with their mind, body and soul, but greed and ignorance stole their livelihoods away. And what did it achieve.
The United Nations now has to feed Zimbabweans as they cannot feed themselves!?

All i can say after reading you guys is, the struggle for justice in the world will continue as long as those that enslaved Africa, colonized Africa, imposed their languages, religion, imposed ignorance, imposed poverty and committed a genocide against Africa refuse to behave like humans. Yesterday the ANC was called a terrorist organization by those calling Mugabe a despot today, yesterday also Mugabe was called a terrorist when trying to free Zimbabwe. If I was Mbeki I was going to create awareness among our people so that they stay aware and focus and void all the propaganda run against president Mugabe. Mugabe will not fall, because he has the support of the majority of Zimbabweans, despite all the economic sabotage against Zimbabwe. Mugabe has shown leadership, he is in total control, there is no military rebellion sponsored by the world criminals at sight so far, showing how effective the intelligence services of Zimbabwe are. May god Protect president Mugabe, May God protect the people of Zimbabwe, may god destroy the evil people who destroyed Africa yesterday and who still refuse to leave Africa progress in peace today.

Is this guy for real?

How would you know (without a free press and intimidation of voters including public beatings and rigged votes?)

True not true? (Does Zim have a free press? NO.) Therefore any 'intimation of how zimbaweans feel is pure propaganda' nevermind the skewed parliament and voices within the country crying dictator!

Shaka I think you should go live in Zimbabwe...

But in case you already do, then I completely understand why you are so supportive, you must obviously be part of the Mugabe Gestapo

Otherwise you wouldn't have internet, come to think of it, you wouldn't even have food..

Not to worry all tyrants fall, eventually, just takes longer in Africa. Soon some RUF faction or something will pop up to, erm, "fight for freedom" and so forth.

IMHO the biggest mistake that the Western Powers made regarding the handling of the Zimbabwean crisis was to impose sanctions on them. The fact is that the Zimbabwean sanctions are mostly political in nature (a travel ban on certain members of ZANU and freezing of the offshore assets of these members). The only economic teeth that these sanctions have is that the IMF would not grant further loans to Zim (they were in arrears with the IMF before sanctions were imposed anyways and they would have been unable to secure further loans as a result).

My point is that the absence of these sanctions would not have made much of a difference (if any) regarding the outcome of at least seven years of appalling mismanagement and corruption on a once-flourishing economy. But here lies the rub: If those sanctions were not in place to begin with then Bob and his hero worshippers (like Shaka) would not have been able to claim sabotage by the evil Western Empire. They would have had a much harder time coming up with a suitable excuse as to why their economy was destroyed without outside intervention.

Looking at this from another angle: If all it took to completely destroy an entire country in a matter of years was to impose very limited sanctions against them then the US might as well disband their huge military machine, impose limited sanctions against everybody that they don't like and then wait 5 years before getting the unfortunate country on a plate! Hell, how much is the yearly cost of occupying Iraq again? A TRILLION dollars IIRC. What a waste. They should have just imposed a travel ban on Saddam and then watch the country fall into their hands.

Maybe but they don't really need to justify propaganda, if people believe the current pronouncements they really will believe anything.

I have no doubt that for you free press is when the USA and the UK Propaganda machines like CNN, BBC, and Reuters are allowed to run destabilizing news in a country to push for their agenda of world domination and control. If all Africans were like me, I am sure those countries will never be allowed to meet with us or even talk to us again. We should look at them like the terror heaven they truly are. I am happy that President Mugabe is acting like I expected him to act; he is acting with the highest degree of fairness, discipline, intelligence and essence. Mugabe is an inspiration to me.

All i can tell you is the west has never in it entire history been fair to Africa. So who can even think they are fair and balanced? Not an informed person like me

Shaka: The Zimbabwe media is state run. Any point you're trying to prove is moot.

All i can tell you is the west has never in it entire history been fair to Africa. So who can even think they are fair and balanced? Not an informed person like me
The west?? Why do you keep pushing this the West vs Africa ideology? There is no more West vs the Rest. It's Africa vs it self. And Robert Mugabe is the ape running the show in Zim - no "the west" has been there for more than 25 years.

Firstly, if Mugabe is an inspiration to you...God help you.

Secondly, everything you said above is the biggest load of sh*t i have ever heard come out of one persons mouth. You are worse than George Bush! ;)
