Counting Rice Calroes

Do you guys count the calories of rice when it's raw/dry or when it's cooked?

Because 100grams of raw rice is different in calroies compared to 100grams cooked .

Not sure which to add to my calorie counter.

You're eating cooked rice.
 
I always counted cooked rice.

However some plans etc were showing uncooked rice calories so was abit confused about that.
 
Prefer to measure uncooked rice calories because you never know how much of cooked rice is water weight. I don’t know.

I guess if you're cooking rice for yourself and eating the entirety of the dry rice once cooked it makes sense. If you cooking for a few people and dishing a 100g portion for yourself the cooked weight probably makes more sense.

Me neither, just don't want to overcompensate on the amount of calories because raw rice is more than cooked.
 
I count the raw values. You can measure the water you use to cook it, but depending on how you cook it and for how long, its hard to know how much water was lost to evaporation. and That can really throw off your total calories for a day and mess with your cut/bulk

So, do you factor in the number of glasses of water you drink into your macros too?
 
You know your life is headed for the drains if you are counting calories from rice.
If you cook it in a Phillips Airfryer the calroes (?) will be lower because you don't use water.
But then you've used air and have to count the calroes (?) of air.

You type like a malnutritioned person. Just eat and stop counting calroes.

Also remember that you have to factor in height above sea level, as caloeis of air at sea level is more than caloeis of air at higher altitudes.
