Hello guys. I have fiber with frogfoot and my isp is vox.
I also have a toddler in the house and so the plug for the cpe unit is hard to get to.
i can reboot my router with web interface , however I would like to reboot cpe/ont when internet does not work, via a web interface as it is difficult to get to the plug.

anyone know how tologin to cpe to reboot, without pulling the plug.

ive attached a picture of what the cpe/ont looks like.

Th 803 (little black box is purerly a demarc device and does not have a web interface, there is a reset button next to the power socket. But I have never had a reason to rest the 803 in over 12 months, even with power outages, and fibre breaks

You can't login to the ONT's to reboot them. FrogFoot I believe can do it, but logging a ticket and waiting 3 days for them to get around to it isn't a good solution. The ONT usually does not have an IP address and would not be accessible from the LAN ports, but reports home to controller software run by the FNO.

You don't need to reboot the ONT, possibly only the router. Ignore what they say.

Thanks guys.
It seems that my apple airport extreme was Disconnecting from the internet, daily for the past few days. I restored defaults and seems to be working Properly now. (I was fortunate to connect it before tech came to install a few years back)
it seemed logical to try to reboot both devices, andi guess it is not necessary to reboot the ont.
