If that is anything to go by then common CPU benches the 720 TriCore is way better than the Q9300.

Rather get a coolermaster Hyper Z600 and mount 1 or 2 120mm fans on it, or if you have the money, get the TRUE

I really don't know what list you're looking at, cos that list shows the Q9300 6 places above your tri-core, ..it's even 1 place above the X4 920.. and that's all at stock, at 3.3GHz, the Q9300 would be performing somewhere in between a stock Q9550 and the Q9650.

You honestly have to face the fact that you downgraded, there's no denying it..

Don't worry juggs, your cpu is slower no doubt but if you can overclock it then all will be good, get to 3.6ghz and you'll kick a q9300's ass plus you will have a much better mobo
