Cracked pool pump housing

Turned on pool pump today after a few mins noticed water is leaking from the cover….i open it up and there is a crack on the housing and water is gushing out …. Repairable or should I just get a new one? If repairable anyone have any pointers for what I can use

There are companies who do plastics repair, but with the type of pressures involved here, it's a safer bet to replace the pump or contact the pump manufacturer/distributor to see if replacement parts are available..

you can buy most of the housings loose especially if its a local made pump .

Replacement is highly recommended.
With these things, not even epoxy adhesives are of much help.

So the insurance has assigned a contractor to take a look at the pool pump - hoping they come through today and we can plot a way forward.

Update - Insurance took another 3 weeks to tell me they wont cover it - i ended up buying a new pump and getting it installed today. Needless to say pool is almost green so here goes fixing it
