Anyone else experiencing crap speeds tonight?

They could have mysteriously vanished. Then again, maybe it's just slow throughput.

Yep, slow speeds. But maybe its the Host Server im downloading from (?). Cape Town BTW.

Fast full 120KB/sec speeds from me. Also in CPT.

Yes, I did. DNS timeouts, web pages stalled during loading.

I went to www.iburst.co.za to see if I was capped, but after logging in saw all my usage stats were zero.

Speed and usage stats back to normal this morning.

Been disconnected 3 times last night. Been trying to download a file from depositfiles from sunday allready. It downloads about 45MB and the connection drops. Sometime the connection just stalls and i get no data. Have to disconnect and then reconnect.

I'll investigate and provide feedback. The symptoms looks like capping was occurring (whether correctly or incorrectly).

Feedback is that there was an issue last night with the package provisioning which was subsequently identified and resolved. Effective was that some subscribers, but not all, would have experienced throttled speeds even though their CAP was not depleted. Apologies for the inconvenience.

The chances of it happening again are low. However, we are implementing configuration changes to improve the stability of product packaging even further.
