Just read about the Bravia catching fire. Maybe wait and see first.

Problem is I just set up my surround sound and with my shiny new PS3 my T260 is a little on the small side.

its not the new Bravia series. These are 3 year old sets. Its these the models affected are 40" HDTVs manufactured in 2007 and 2008. Model numbers covered by the recall include KDL-40D3400, KDL-40D3500, KDL-40D3550, KDL-40D3660, KDL-40V3000, KDL-40W3000, KDL-40X3000, and KDL-40Z3000.

People buying Sinotec's, Logik's and Telefunken's react exactly the same. ;)

Could you at least tell us what you use it for?

Why on earth would I be comparing when you all know very well I am FOR branded sets?

I am simply pointing out that saying "it's an awesome tv", without any other information, means jack squat. Because even someone buying a cheapie for the first tine would think it's awesome.

Come on... :)

Whew!

That makes sense.

I thought for a second there that you had finally completely lost your marbles :p

It's a good price but be careful to check the TV as I have seen 3 different ones and was not happy with the brightness at all.

Ok then definitely check out the plasma!

I believe it will give you a better experience for less cash. Not only size, but colours/blacks as well.

LCD's higher resolution will be nullified if you sit like 2m+ away.

DO NOT be fooled by LCD/LED-LCD looking "brighter" under shop lighting.

I know that much at least. Maybe I should just be more patient.
