Crazy requests from ADSL subscribers

I had a tech come into my house and look at my router, he saw the light was on, and said well the light is on so it must be working, just after I had explained that when the wind blows here in Port Elizabeth I have no internet. Next tech found out that the end of the line that goes into the pole in the yard was carroded, fixed it, and I have always had internet after that! :)
