The "fight" was never about who won the most Currie Cup trophies.
It was about ticket prices. See how the media always turns something around:eek::D

Bulls are a rip off!

Not sure if this has been posted but Sharks game : Ticket Prices: R130 for adults and R60 for scholar benches. And you get a party after on the fields!

This is not an international game but they price it like one.
For me and 6 friends to go would cost us R1400.00 just for tickets. All other seats are crap. Then another R200 for parking. And a few beers each plus snacks and food bought at stadium. Already looking at R2500+

Bit expensive for a 4 hour outing. :sick:

Why not lower the ticket prices and make sure the stadium is full instead of trying to make a quick buck.

Imagine what the prices will be for a final??? :eek:

sigh dude, I gather you didn't do too well at math at school.

First I gather no-one here has actually checked what the ticket prices are.

Second - the reason the Bulls can charge and Do charge more say than the sharks, is because there is more demand than supply - Loftus would be full even if the ticket prices were doubled!

Back to the ticket prices, either R110 behind the posts or R165 on the side, so its either 6 x R110 or 6 xR165, either way max is R990 and not R1400.

Parking R200, hmmm, NOT, where you parking? I park in the streets around the stadium, there is always a spot and at the most its R10 or R20 to the car guard who is in that road.

So with a couple of beers, snacks and whatnot, you are looking at no more than R250 a person, damn cheap for the Loftus atmosphere, can't beat it anywhere.

Now I must finally go learn Afrikaans and the words to Liefling....

same as westham have "I'm forever blowing bubbles" and redsox have "sweet caroline", bulls have "liefling", it just works.....packed loftus is electric!!!!!!!!!:rolleyes::D:rolleyes::):cool:;)
 
I'll stick with my 'Liefling' free zone at Kings Park ...... 10x the atmosphere anyway ;):D

The only time Loftus is ever Electric is when the bulls play the Sharks. Sharks supporters FTW.

Short of a Sharks vs bulls game played at Loftus, I would rather contemplate my navel from the comfort of my house...

now where did I just read about Bulls fans whining because Kaplan is in charge of the final ..... hmmmm. At least we'll have a competent ref this time round .... sorry, no Aussie on your side this time around ;):D
