40 overs? Geez Louise that's a lot. What happened to those days when a session used to be 25 - 30 overs? I think we should bat for another 20 overs and put India in to bat for the last 20. The only reason I said we should declare is because I thought there were only 20 odd overs left in the day.

It's hot and they take 2 drinks breaks per session.
Guess we won't have to worry about declaring now...

I disagree that Steyn is just a fast bowler. Nel is just a fast bowler, Steyn is wilier than that. He's been talking about Pollock and McGrath being his role models, so I think he's a little more concerned with control than absolute pace.

I agree though that he needs to be looked after. I don't think that you can ask a sportsman to represent his country and hold back though.

Ntini - 2 overs for 12. Steyn 2 overs for 6. Sehwag has already hit a 6 and a 4.

A 4 and a 6 has gone through 3rd man. Smith has no 3rd man in place. What an idiot.
