Cricket: International Discussion Thread

Expect low scores for he forseeable future -these guys must be rusty AF.

Was actually thinking about that when Stokes won the toss and batted. Might have been beneficial to spend some time in the field and nets before trying to bat. Especially since there's been good weather for bowling.

Fun fact, Kraigg and Carlos Brathwaite are not brothers, but they did go to the same school in Barbados, and attended with pop singer Rihanna.

Quite strange watching an empty stadium with the constant din of a 'crowd' coming through the commentary

Not a single umpiring call going Windies way. Brutal when the review is umpire's call.

Harsh says: "Has the pitch eased out or just good batting by the WI batsman?" - They've been calculated. They've been circumspect. It's a term that's disappeared from the game now: percentage cricket. West Indies, particularly Brathwaite, has done that well, because honestly, the balls still swinging and nipping around.

WI 159/3 (47.0)

Day 3: Lunch Break - West Indies trail by 45 runs

Day 3: Tea Break - West Indies lead by 31 runs

hmm we going to run out of days by the look of things

England batting their way to safety.

I love solid openers, but I also love batting collapses, so now that I've gotten to watch the openers grind down the ball over 30 overs, I'd like five wickets to fall in three overs please.
