320 runs on the last day of a test match to win...that's pretty nuts.
If I were an Aussie bowler I'd be looking at the groundsmen after the last couple games. Both pitches played way too well on the final day...I'm wondering if there was an over-reaction to the Adelaide game where India got bowled out in a session.
You can bet the English won't survive a day 5 pitch on their upcoming tour of India.

What a test series! Amazing result from india and now it's up to use to secure a NZ vs India world test championship final at lords. We just have to not lose 1 test vs Aus and NZ will make it. I'm pretty sure india will dominate england something stupid at home.

They'll be out of that test championship in the UK if they don't thrash us. However, if the Proteas can build on beating Sri Lanka (sure, a weakened team but not sure it would've helped much more if they were at full strength) by beating Pakistan, then the test series against the Wobblies will be awesome.
NZ are #1 right now but it seems that the way the cricketing mafia has structured series for India, Australia & England, they won't play enough games to maintain that ranking. That's a crying shame.

They'll immediately lose #1 after IND ENG series unfortunately. But you cannot be disappointed with this current indian team after this series.

Take hindsight out of the equation, and I don't see the problem with these comments. At the time, they were perfectly valid and not at all off the mark. India had been hammered, I think they had one or two injuries and on top of that, their talisman was on a flight home. It was a reasonable conclusion to make that they were going to get annihilated in the remaining matches. The fact that they didn't speaks volumes for their character and it should show them that they don't necessarily need Kohli to succeed.
