India v Aus an interesting first hour. India 51/5 after 13 overs. Prodigious turn for the spinners, its playing like a day 5 pitch on day 1. Madness.
 
There were some questionable selections by Conrad but I guess we can't really judge him too negatively until if they lose.

WI is not a good team and one whom they can afford to experiment against. Still, the batting performance was overall not good. They'd have been in a bit of trouble if not for Markram+Elgar.

I guess the 2x 2.5 day tests were too long...they want to be out of there by day 2.
 
The powerhouses and 'lords' of cricket and this is the dog of a pitch they produce (and will no doubt get away with).
 
They might cause Australia are dealing with it much better. Perhaps the Indians have been caught out at their own game...?

Green and Handscomb were playing well and then it was over in 20 minutes. That's gotta hurt.

India lead by 12. Any run now on this surface is like gold. 100+ and they will fancy their chances.
