Cricket: International Discussion Thread

Will Joe retire before he disrespects the legends. I am sure Shukri thinks it would be sacrilege to pass Sachin.

I don't get this sacrilege thing. Records are meant to be broken and most will be broken eventually, at least in Cricket. Except Bradman's average of course.

India are doing alright so far.

I’d say they’re going to lose though as they picked Bumrah.

I thought 358 was a good score for India.

England 77/0 already. Bazball…

England are in command here. Kudos to Stoke for resuming play. I hope his hamstring is not too serious.

For India, their bowling has been really sub-par. None have really looked like they could penetrate the English line up.

Such a pity, as this has shaped up to be such a pivotal match in the series.

I Suppose its such a pity from a neutral / Indian fan being such a pivotal match, however other side of the coin, being an English fan on the front foot on such a pivotal match, no pity.

A series decider in the final test would have been fun.

I expect the Lions to kill off the test series against Australia later today too.

Aussies killing off the WI T20 series currently.

Such is life, such is sport

Who'd want to be a West Indian supporter?

Once the super power of world cricket, now the laughing stock.

2 from 18 in their last 18 T20s.. make that 2 from 19

Just looking at some stats, India must be wondering how they are losing this series.

Dropped 7 catches In the first test cost them the game. Awful tailend batting in both innings.
Awful runout just before lunch when Rahul and pant were in control in third test, first innings ends up level instead of India in the lead. Awful batting on the fourth afternoon and fifth morning of the third test.

England have played the bigger moments much better.
