Cricket: International Discussion Thread

Watching West Indies just bowl wide and NZL batters just leaving it with zero pressure on them. Doesn't even look like they are trying. Looks like they are on auto pilot.

Go for the stumps man!

Ashes up in a few mins. Pink ball test in Brisbane.

England chose to bat first.

All the talk about Aus leaving out Lyon from the test. But in comes another South African born player Michael Neser.

England 1 down already. Duckett out for a Duck lol. Starc gets him.

Second over for Starc and he get Pope out for 0 too. Bowled him

Eng 2/5

Root dropped on 2, Starc could have had 3 already

OMG can someone remind me what the difference is between Bazball and fishing outside off stump?

That missed review by aus costing them big time. Pitch seems flat after the first few overs. Aus may have gotten it wrong not playing Lyon, not sure you need 5 seamers. Especially when 4 of them are right arm medium fast.

Crawley out. But Eng settled nicely after a crazy start.

Root showing promise, he may get that 100.

England ticking along nicely here. Australia need a few wickets and quickly.

Brainless from brook. Why would you try and smash Starc second ball of his new spell when he is the only one looking like taking a wicket.

I am loving having this match going on this morning. Always super happy to have cricket going on in the background while I am working :)

A simple ignorant and doff question... Australia bowled 47 overs in the first two sessions. Am I missing something? Is this not a really pathetically slow over rate.

Its pathetically slow. But bazzballers will make sure they get out before 80 overs are up so no penalty for aus.
