So England vs Pakistan gets underway tomorrow and it should be a closely watched affair, given what happened the last time Pakistan toured there. Don't really see them competing to be honest. Think the usual suspects like Misbah ul Haq and Younis Khan will doggedly resist and there may be some assistance for the genuine quick Wahab Riaz, but overall England should have this 4 match series wrapped up comfortably. Play gets underway at 12:00pm SA time.

Honestly, Amir should not be in any form of cricket, let alone international cricket. Players involved in corrupt practices should be banned for life; the governing bodies have been way too soft on Amir and his ilk, and a definitive message needs to be sent.

He should have been banned for life but cricket is very lenient. Gibbs only got 6 months for his involvement in the cronje affair. At least Amir got send to jail.

Great performance by Yasir Shah and Misbah.
There is definitely a weakness in the batting talent coming through.

I watched quite a bit off the match...been laid up with the flu. This is the most cohesive Pakistan side I've seen in awhile. Great team spirit they've got going...hope it holds up when they hit tough patches in the series.

Two down:

Sri Lanka 117 & 353
Australia 203 & 33/2 (8.1 ov)
Australia require another 235 runs with 8 wickets remaining

Time shouldn't be a factor. Nerves will be.

^ 83/3 now with bad light stopping play.

If SL pull this off, it will come down to Kusal Mendis's innings...176 with the next best score after 3 innings being 47 (Voges).

Stumps on day 4 called with bad light. Pity.

Sri Lanka 117 & 353
Australia 203 & 83/3 (27.0 ov)
Australia require another 185 runs with 7 wickets remaining

Not sure how much time will be added on, but it shouldn't go much more than 45 - 50 overs for a win for SL or Aus.

In the meantime, Zim's misery continues with NZ getting some good match practice ahead of their series with SA.

This begs the question why SA did not secure a series with Zim in the first instance ... or is the CSA to arrogant to have done this?
