In odi's a quick fire 30/50 can be match winning, in test cricket it's not enough.

The aussie batting lineup ain't that great especially against the swinging ball in England. They haven't gotten close to winning in the UK in ages.

Expect England to do well in the ashes but struggle in SA. Unless they find proper batsmen again.

I've really enjoyed watching the Windies.

Something we haven't seen from them in a while; focus. They've batted exceptionally well in tricky circumstances while their bowlers have mauled the English.
 
I see Jason Holder has been banned for the third and final Test against England due to a slow over rate in the second Test.

Yip, i think he was also fined for slow over rate in his previous test against Sri Lanka.
 
Yoh, big controversy in the T20 between NZ and India. Mitchell gets given out lbw but he reviewed it as he got an inside edge. However the edge was only seen on Hotspot after he was given out by the 3rd umpire and by then the onfield umpire had upheld the decision so he had to go.
 
Coincidence that the Windies turned in their most feeble batting display in a long time with no Jason Holder in the lineup?
 
Keemo Paul stretchered from field after suffering quadriceps injury
West Indies suffered a significant injury blow on the third morning of the third Test in St Lucia, when Keemo Paul, their impressive young allrounder, had to be stretchered from the field after damaging his right quadriceps.

The incident occurred in the fourth over of the morning, when Paul set off in pursuit of a Joe Denly cover-drive off Shannon Gabriel. After initially sprinting at full tilt, Paul pulled up suddenly ten metres from the rope, and fell to the ground as soon as he had left the field of play.

He continued to receive treatment behind the boundary as play continued, before being wheeled around the perimeter of the ground to sympathetic applause, and was replaced by the substitute fielder, Jomel Warrican

West Indies announced soon afterwards that Paul had suffered a right quadriceps strain, adding that he was "unlikely to return to field before tea."

That, however, appeared to be an optimistic assessment. Full recoveries can take six weeks or more, which would rule Paul out of the one-day leg of England's visit too.

If that were the case, it would be a cruel end to a very impressive performance from Paul, who came into the St Lucia match as a replacement for West Indies' captain, Jason Holder, following his suspension for a slow over-rate in Antigua.
