derek didnt werent you and nick listening to commentary on bbc for golf last year? Is there something like that for cricket???

or else theres always radio 2000 on your cellphone.... but the commentators arent so cool :(
 
on cricinfo already and trying to avoid the radio 2000 commentary...ah well will have to try and sneak out a little early
 
I hate games like today.. why? cause lets face it SA stuffed up again. And then india is not much of an opposition to take them on so SA look good but really the game sucks.
 
with the batting towards the end. I mean if india had a decent batting squad we'd be in trouble. Interestingly our tactic vs them is the same as west indies .. bowl bouncers till they get use to it.

at 90/9 I'd say the bouncers are working...
 
yup, though i lol in the semi finals when they tried that vs windies [who probably remembered all to well SA's tactics]

At the same time they did bowl quite well. uhm in particular i liked that Nel and Langeveldt got the two most experienced players bowled. Anyways I hope India get their batmen right as well as our batsmen.

SA won...period. Who cares what bouncers they bowled? They took advantage of the conditions.
 
Its not easy for any team to play under lights in durban or capetown. If u remember Australia also got destroyed by sa under lights. Its not easy to bat under lights as i said in an earlier post. Ball moves around a bit and for a subcontinent team its almost impossible. Still think the way the indians batted was pathetic. But lets see what happens in capetown when they both bat during the day (i think) ..... still they are missing sehwag and yuvraj singh so it will be tough. But dont count them out.......

The only real batsmen we have (kallis) proved again why he is so good. i sometimes get pissed off at all those critics that say hes too slow..He knows what hes doing and we must stop second judging him....
 
Well done SA. Our bowlers did well, and JK earned his MotM award.

Where do I sign the petition to get Smith axed as captain (as well as batsman)?

please note that the pitch they played on was a carpet,the WI bowlers used what was left for bowling in the first inns,that left us with pretty much nothing to work with as bowling.Soon as that ball left our hands it would just simply loose all pace and sit up nicely for the WI batsman.We got it wrong and Gale got it right.

last night SA was like a pack a hungry dogs!!! and smith was the poddle at the back of the pack!! they were foaming at the mouth!!! hows bouchs leg side attempt for that catch!! omg!! now that was the old SA team/bowling i know.
