CRICKET SA vs England

I'd say Ntini is in on that list but Boucher I dunno. He's a top notch WK. I guess there's AB for that too.

Must've been horrible for Polly to have to do commentry for this series. I'd rather see him out there!

The only person who should be sacked is Mickey.... This team has a unique blend of youth and experience. For me it's the coaches job to extract the best out of the players, keep them sharp and focused. The Ozzies are masters of it, consider the mileage they got out of Glen, Shane, the Waugh brothers, Mat Hayden etc etc etc In SA when we percieve a loss of form we want to drop the guys instead of acknowledging form is temporary, talent is not and how do we get the great players back to their competitive best.

A coach worth his salt will achieve this, Jake displayed this with Os and Percy, Mickey is the weak link in the SA setup. This team has so much talent and they doing well but with a great coach they would be unbeatable...

Yeah I really can not see them sacking kallis, boucher or Ntini.... but hay never say never.

Just wish Albie will be ready to play soon.

Ntini, Gibbs, Philander.

I really do hope so. Philander is mediocre to say the least and the other two are not performing. I might consider Gibbs for another shot considering his 70-odd (just to keep sandmann happy:D), but the other two must go for sure!

+1

So our players, albeit experienced (Kallis, Gibbs, etc.) are useless without a good coach... hmmm... something doesn't sound right.

Hardly useless but there are certainly technical discrepancies that have crept into their game. Shaun Pollock helped Mkaya while he was in England prior to the start of the test series and there was a significant difference in his bowling action and he was successful particularly in the 4th test.

IMO Mickey doesn't have the technical prowess to advise the more experienced and talented players when they have a slump in technique and or form...
