The pommie commentators are really being twats this series. Why do they insist on saying 96 for 7? It is not! It is 218 for 7! Or a 96 run lead! They are trying to make it sound worse than it is. Even they play mind games.

I am thinking that 150 plus lead will make it interesting though... a few quick wickets for us and England may start doubting themselves!! Well I hope anyway!

Yeah, but that was Fanie. I still remember the commentry (if it was the same game) about how bad SA is blah bla .... and we have no chance Blah Bla .... and Fanie made the "commentator" swallow his words in a few balls.

This light thing does annoy me a little. It seems too subjective. Harris complained about the light and Nel was also seeming not to happy (yes it may have been sportsmanship) but then they are out and six balls later England are offered the light..... I know they use light meters but it still seems open to interpretation!

That was an awesome game. Fanie at his best. Got McGrath out caught and bowled at the end to win with 7 runs or something. I have some very fond memories of waking up in the early hours of the morning to watch us play against Aus that series, got progressively worse from there. Hopefully this time around things are different.

This game is far from over. 197 is a pretty decent total. Especially on 5th day pitch. Although the pitch is apparently still in pretty good shape. Some early wickets and the pressure will be on them.

I am pretty happy with the way we fought back today, and especially the way Harris and AB played.
