Our under 19 women's team are playing their first game of the under 19 WC today vs new Zealand but start is delayed due to a damp outfield. Tournament taking place in Malaysia.

So far on the first day aus hammered the Scots by 10 wickets chasing 48, no result between England & Ireland, no result western Samoa & Nigeria.
Toss delayed between Pakistan and US.
Nepal 36/6 after 16 overs vs Bangladesh.

The girls won comfortably in the end. Fielding hard to watch at times but WP.

Seems to be the normal SA women trait to have some really average fielders.
Nevertheless good to start the tournament with a win. NZ should be out biggest challenge in the group as the others are western Samoa and Nigeria.
