If you saw what NZ did against Pakistan then I'm sure wickets in hand takes priority over run rate.We need some full tossers and wides from India in the last 10 overs though.

That is overly optimistic. The required run rate has gone from 6 an over to 7.15. It's looking pretty dire.

I seem to recall having predicted that the SA upper order would need to play conservatively in order to protect their wickets because of our poor middle order. Sucks to see it happening.

Kallis needs to go, amla is fine but kallis as usual is not prepared to be the match winner. Sad to watch but i remain positive we will win

We are looking okay. They do need to introduce the odd boundary now, but its important to not try for 12/over which is what we occasionally do when lifting the pace. A slight increase now and then onto the big hitting in a few overs with wickets in hand.

But yeah, the time for the odd four is now.
 
Damn, looks like 250 for 1 was way too optimistic. It'll probably be 250 all out. It's not choking any more, SA are just an average side now.

No we going ok for now, we are leaving it late though as usual. Batting power play to come as well.
 
A couple more 11 run overs and we are right back in the game. Sure AB will hurry Kallis along.

All it takes is a few more overs and we win as well, kallis is looking good which is good to see. We are on track here for the win.

It's taken them this long and they haven't been able to properly penetrate the field. It's obvious Kirsten has taught them what he does well - field. The Indian fielding has been outstanding. Unfortunately our boys will have to take chances cos the Indians are doing a good job of keeping that ball too low to slog.
 
I feel that the next few overs will determine the outcome of this game.Its boundaries or wickets.
