Yea now when we chase we can look at this game for inspiration, as mentioned our top order must get a move on but how do you criticize a team that looked like being hit for 400+ and never really in the chase. Guts and kallis not being there at the end .

Granted without kallis we may have never got there.

Our bowlers did the work in the field and at the crease. After seeing this I really believe AB should come in before Kallis. Having two anchor batsmen in at the same time (Kallis and Amla) didn't work for us, especially with Smith looking so awful at the crease. AB is looking in amazing form and he and Amla/Kallis would be great.

In my opinion.Get rid of Smith now and drop him from the S.A team.He has not shown any leadership nor batting abilituy this world cup.More a complete lack of interest since he is retiring from 50 over cricket at the end of this WC.Make Botha captain.If he had been there against England we would have won.

It was the only way we were going to win. Nobody likes sacrificing their run rate but the middle order did the job! India's openers and bowlers very nearly won that game for them. They are going to feel like chokers tonight for sure.
