Looking for a bit of constructive criticism, personally I think the site looks good, but that is obviously my own bias so looking for some feedback on what I can improve and if there are any immediate red flags.

It's a normal bootstrap website (with PHP backend).

https://futurecitiesafrica.com/

Edit: If anyone is selling a Logitech C920 Camera please let me know, looking to buy one, cannot find stock anymore.

I can also use some tips on the editing and perhaps a better interviewing setup, some gear recommendation maybe?

Also looking for one.

Hmmm, not so much the site but...why not have proper podcast feeds so I can use my app of
I think design wise it is fine. There is just so much text. It's like a wall of text.
The blurb text below each podcast seems a bit too long.

I do audio podcasting. The most important thing to a video podcast, visually, is the lighting. I don't know which webcam you use at the moment, but there are many which does very well in appropriate light.

Otherwise, use your phone in the interim until the Logitech's are available again.

Your website is a-okay, but I am too tired to critique. No eyesores.

The built-in one on the laptop... NOT ideal.
Did not really anticipate the global webcam shortage.

The only thing bothering me with using the phone is syncing the audio.
Right now a semi-good microphone is being used, Samson C01U Pro - looking to upgrade to the Rode Podmic

Dibs, not dips :)

On Mobile the section below appears two to three paragraphs down the page - consider moving it to the top of the page unless there is a valid reason for the current layout”

The thinking on mobile is:

#1 Get the email address (a subscriber is worth more than a single view) so figured lets focus on that for the above the fold, then:
#2 The latest / featured discussions so we get the impression
#3 Additional text as a last effort to hook the guy on mobile about what the site is with the hope he scrolls back to the go view the discussions.

I had to pick up 2 extra webcams. The only cheap one available was the Ausdom which does remarkebly well in good light.

I do video with the Ausdom AF640 and head tracking with the Ausdom AW615. I think the C920 does better than the AF640 in 'bad' light, but in good light they compete very well.

Well, that is very useful information because I saw the brand, obviously never heard of them so immediately dismissed it.

The Samson C01U Pro is a very good USB microphone. The Rode Podmic... eh, USB, man you could stick with the CO1U unless you go XLR, Podcastage did a review,

It is a good option, but tweaking the C01U a bit in the sound settings and repositioning how you speak into it may be the better decision at the time than to 'upgrade' to the Rode Podmic.

Most people who want to start out with XLR I tell them to get the Scarlett starter kit. It is superb value, come podcasting.

Do you set a cookie to hide after the user has provided you with their email address? If not then it’s wasted space and opportunity.

Small things like that cab become annoying. Only other thing I would change is the share buttons on the bottom. Have them on a tab that can be closed or have the hide after scrolling.

Other than that great job
