Hey guys,

I've been trying to setup direct Crossover cable link between a Win XP desktop (which has iBurst) and a Win 7 Home Basic laptop.
The purpose is Internet connection Sharing, but i have been unable to achieve that.

At one point, I had File and Printer Sharing working, and the connection was very stable at 12 MBps(96mbps) . (100mbps ethernet on CAT5e cable)

Then I tried getting the Internet Sharing to work (Google was consulted), then things stopped working completely and now I can't even get File and Printer sharing to work...

Could someone please assist?

Well, so far I've managed to get File and Print sharing to work, and watching Videos (HD Movie trailers. high bitrates) is a breeze.
And ping 'ing the ip's from both PC's works fine. The only problem is getting ICS to work.

I'll try the link you gave, RaFi, thanks.
