Of course it may be that she considered you, actually doesn't like you, and never will despite your ongoing and obvious crush on her. She does like you as a friend so she avoids mentioning the glaringly obvious fact that everybody but you can see from a mile away.

While that's true for many women, I'm pretty damn sure not for all. But as you stated earlier, they're not the dating material in any case. More the "meaningful overnight relationship" type...

Indeed it is, but it also backfires a lot. Kinda sucky :/

As I've mentioned to AvatarS recently: "doing the right thing still requires doing it right."
 
It is much easier accomplished with a new acquaintance than with a long-existing friend of course. :/

Where is he? Has he made plans with her? When are they getting together? Is she even speaking to him? What's going on?

I feel like it's the new season of a favourite series and I only have a vague recollection of what went on last season because it's been such a long time... :(
