They were only fully operational at 14:13 and that from first notice at 9:50 so well before that already.
Sure other banks have had outages before but nothing as all encompassing as this where literally every single service of theirs both internal and external was dead for half a day.
Note that I know people on the inside.

Meh, user reporting website like Downdetector are nice to predict a trend but doesn't say too much...but you might also want to actually read that graph before using it as some kind of evidence.
Capitec 1776 reports.
FNB...a whopping 43.
Those are two entirely different statistics even though the graphs might look the same.
FNB's entire environment didn't **** the bed like Capitec's.
And those trends are pretty much day to day normal for these kinds of detectors often due to idiot users not actual outages. If you could have dialled those charts back day by day I guarantee they look almost the same every day.
