CRT Screen Repairs? Jhb?

I have quite a few lying in my garage. Anybody know of someone who repairs these things at a reasonable rate? What he cannot repair he can have as spare parts. I only need a couple of working ones, pref. the two 17 inch monitors. I am willing to drop off and retch in the greater Joburg area.

There used to be a place called Village Computers in Pretoria. They had quite a few of my old CRT's fixed, and the rate was very reasonable. They have since disappeared, though. Maybe try track them down?

Why bother to fix them... they'll cost as much to buy a new one as it is to repair them.

Sell them as spare parts !

hmm.. I thought about that... but new 17 inch monitors are over R700.00. most monitor repairs that do not require substantial spares come in around R300 to R400. Still worth it to me to repair them.

Give Cyberdyne a try in Roodepoort/Florida - they used to offer this service at a fairly reasonable price.
