Cryptocurrency Mining

Thanks, also just found him :)

For interests sake, on the GTX1070, non founders edition cards look to only draw 35W from the PCI slot, founders edition draws the full 75W (this is under heavy gaming load). So with a bit of luck these dodgy risers will be fine. I am however getting a friend to bring his thermal camera around so I'll measure how hot it is all getting vs my current decent risers. If I'm feeling brave I'll try measure the actual current with a multimeter

Can someone please post their bat file text? I've been setting up another rig (and helping mates with another 2) and my brain is now poop, can't get ethminer working

What pool do you use?

For nicehash you can use the below

ethminer.exe -SP 2 -U -S daggerhashimoto.eu.nicehash.com:3353 -O yourBitcoinAddressHere.workerNameHere

Getting exceptions being thrown using those commands  I'll try again later once I can look at it properly

Any recommendations for a ETH mining pool?

Try this:
ethminer.exe --farm-recheck 200 -U -S eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -FS eu2.ethermine.org:4444 -O wallet.worker

Edit: See it's pretty much the same as what was posted already. Open a command prompt and see if at least ethminer.exe --help runs correctly.

--help did run, but after the day I had it was all Greek :p I'll try yours after work

That was just to see if the binary actually ran. I did see mention somewhere about people needing additional runtime libraries installed.

I've been using claymore up till now. I really like the remote console option. Can connect to it from my tablet and check temps and hash rates, so not sure if I want to trade that for ethminer yet, but will give it a go at some stage.
