Arduino is really easy. Much quicker startup and less finnicky than a pi - no need for software on cards, long boot times, etc. Just flash and forget. What they're not good for is user interactive stuff... but controlling stuff and basic output they rock! Very basic c programming skills are sufficient, but so much out there to google if you're stuck.

NiceHash sure does lots of maintenance to their site...I manage to get this a few times a day, every day

Chaps, some help please :)

My GTX970 is getting very, very poor results in DaggerHash under Windows 10. Benchmarking it shows the following:

65% power level, stock clocks and all that. The same setup under a fresh copy of Windows 7 yields exactly the same speed in Equihash and a speed of 19MH/s in DaggerHash.

Has anyone else had this issue before? The 1070 is running just fine and I have experimented with various versions of nVidia drivers but I feel I am at my wit's end now :(

That is the issue ;) Nothing that can be done about it (and I've looked high and low as well)
 
Sigh :(

I have heard that some chaps have experimented with the CUDA toolkit and have gotten mixed results. I hoped that it was maybe just misconfiguration on my side. I have a spare HDD running Win7 for mining, but it is a pity that this limitation exists
 
I don't know hey. I've seen at least the same performance (if not slightly better) since moving to Windows 10.
Although, for the whole day, my hash rate has gone for a bowl of snot. Thinking this is the stuff Thor187 was mentioning earlier about NVidia not liking the Dagger. Used to be fine... .pretty sure he jinxed it ;)
