Cryptocurrency Mining

As I understand the transaction fees are collected by miners ?

Transactions will always have to be added to the blockchain. New more efficient algorithms are developed by the week to make solving the shares easier and quicker and adding to the block.

Miners will never cease to exist while there is a blockchain.

The fees.
Thanks, makes sense!

The address goes into NHM. You don't get paid in dollars. Everything is done in BTC. The payment dates are not a fixed period. It depends on how much you've contributed. Contribute a lot and you can get paid every hour. Check the site.

The API is for people who are buying hashpower. You are selling hashpower.

Thanks, just wanting to check if I followed the correct process to create the address.

Once I receive the bitcoin, I can then sell it in Luno (is there a cost for this? is it the 1%)? and then cash out to my bank account? (think it's R5.50)

Guys?

For the peeps that have ordered the antminer l3+, are you just going to hook it up to Nicedash as well?

This all depends on what Litecoin is doing.

Multipool.com - Mine to the Scrypt multi-currency pool, it will mine the most profitable coin and also pays out in BTC.

EDIT: I'm mining there with my 2 USB SHA-256 miners. Slow going at 2 x 30GH/s.

Oh, my home internet is also slow as ****! Can't even remote connect to the PC properly.

One would expect a new version to be better, but then I remind myself of WinMe and WinVista...

Figured out my issue with ethpool.org. It's for the bigger operations. If you're not generating GH/s then rather go with etherminer / dwarfpool / nicehash that do regular smaller payouts.

My R9 380 is doing 19.393MH/s on NiceHash with stock settings. Will see if I can get it better.

Pretty much the config I had before. In Afterburner (I assume you use it but any management app will do) can you see the graphs and if any of them are telling you whether there is any throttling on the card? Are you using the card on a riser?

No throttling from what I can see, GPU0 core dips every now and then to 1200, the rest pretty much have a constant core clock 24/7 at 1550-1600. All cards are on risers

So i figured out my Win10 "throttling" issue...

TeamViewer and Remote Desktop. When i hookup the screen to RIG, boot, everything auto starts and the hashes looks good, the moment I connect via TV or RDP my "main" card drops in hash performance. Kinda logical if you think about it, but it does not happen in Win7. Must be a Win10 config of some sort.

That actually makes a lot of sense. RDP probably using the card for encoding the video stream.

Switch graphics / res settings right down to the lowest and see...
