Cryptocurrency Mining

Damn you can buy ten of thousands of redd for peanuts. Where do you see the value in six months. Even at a dollar thats a killing

I don't see any coin that has billions of coins in circulation ever hitting a dollar. Ripple is an exception.

Is anyone using Claymore Dual miner and ETH hash rate has just halved? or maybe my settings are screwed.

Ok so i am getting really confused (more than usual :-)

So far i have used NHM most of the time and played around a bit with claymore dual mine (eth+sia). I am currently running 4 x 1060 6gb cards.

I would like to explore more and mine a bit of other currencies listed on for example coinwarz.com. but not sure what miner to use when / for what. What is the difference between ccminer, sgminer etc (and what to use when??)

The principle is that the miner you use must support the relevant algorithm that the target coin is based on. Some miners support a variety of algorithms and some only one or two.

Ok so for example Dogecoin uses Scrypt -> so i would use ccminer? simply change the pool & wallet address?

any other ones you would maybe recommend?

Yes.

Well to be honest, I have only fiddled with a handful and settled with NHM (you can do better though, NHM has it's own mechanism as opposed to 1% fee that some pools charge). From time to time I fire up Minergate as well for monero and bytecoin, it supports any coin that is based on cryptonight algo.
