Cryptocurrency Mining

Anyone considered Hashnest?
https://www.hashnest.com/hash_currencies/28/shop

Bitmain's farm.
You pay for the miner and they ship / install within 72 hours. I guess this is where most of their manufacturing effort is going. Looks reasonable. Interesting that they don't do the D3 through hashnest. Only the L3+ and S9 / S7. Maintenance fee looks dirt cheap if I'm reading it right... $1.30 a day... where's the catch...

Well... I see that L3+ is no longer in stock - was in stock when I posted lol.

Reasonable? So basically I could spend 3600$ and get a dud?

"Because redeemed hardware is, by nature, secondhand, Hashnest cannot guarantee the quality or remaining life of a machine. Older units may not hash as efficiently as they once did. Hashnest cannot guarantee that every redeemed machine will operate as though it were new."

No thanks

If mining is no longer profitable (difficulty, electricity costs, etc. etc.), you have the option to redeem the machine you paid for... and they don't guarantee that hardware since it has been used. What's wrong with that?

Maybe I don't fully understand what's being said there. Does it refer to profitability or when the miner fails due to whatever hardware failure?

Stupid question: Am I doing this right ?
and how do i check the balance? and how often will it send my ethers to my address ?

I'm using Claymore's miner and I'm running the below.
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool us1.ethpool.org:3333 -ewal MyAddresshere -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://dcr.suprnova.cc:3252 -dwal Redhex.my -dpsw x -eres 1

You're wasting your time with ethpool. It's where the big farms play. Use ethermine.org or nanopool. You can check your balance on those sites by putting in your wallet address.

It's simply an agreement that allows them to stop mining if electricity costs are too high or profitability is too low, that's all. Doesn't seem complicated to me. You can then claim your miner and have them ship it to you. The clause you quoted simply absolves them of any warranty commitment since the machine will have been used.

Any one have orders in BITMAIN ? I have 2x D3 paid with BTC and 6 with USD wire, but cant upload the proof of payment as the site is totally down now. Send email and submit tickets just got generic responds.

You have to give them time to respond. They are slow. Like up to 5 days. They get tens of thousands of emails a day unfortunately. They do respond though. I got my proof of payment for my USD wires through a bit late but they honoured the price.

they are upgrading their site/servers until the 10th...so you cant access their "product" page and login to your account/sales orders unfortunately.

Nano pool is nice I did the sia and eth dual thing, but is a bit of a schlep getting it stable.

Dayum.... I'll be lucky to make anything by the time my D3 and L3 arrive... It's going one way at the moment, and it's not the right way... Ripple in the green for a change, so that's nice :)

My miners are switched off. I'll wait till ether recovers.
