Cryptocurrency Mining

Has anyone here used Awesome Miner which is a lot like Nicehash but a friend of mine reported insane profits (too good to be true).

I don't have time to set it up and test now.

Yes shows insane profits, easy to setup to mine to zpool which mines whatever makes best money.

And so my mining dilemmas continue, so I have finally been able to boot into my Bios of my GPU rig with a GPU by disabling CSM, but now the issue is I cannot boot to windows, which it does when CSM is enabled, but then only with onboard VGA, FML. The SSD is visible in Bios but it is not a boot option.

If you loaded Windows with the BIOS in UEFI mode then you will have to reinstall if you go back to Legacy (CSM).

If you were a clever boy and loaded your Windows 10 install onto USB3, then it's quick ;)

I did, it's just the thought of doing this all again and then hoping it finally works. :p

And you get paid in Bitcoin, not the actual coin you mine, right? Have you had payouts from AM before?
If you use Awesome Miner with MiningPoolHub, you can choose to get "paid" in the coin of your choice (as long as it is supported by MPH), if you enable auto exchange. If you don't auto exchange you can manually pay out each coin you have mined to your own wallet.

The choice is yours, but yes, it is a lot easier to auto exchange. Also, the fees seem quite reasonable on MPH.

So this has worked, I disabled CSM reinstalled windows, could not boot, enabled CSM and changed only storage to legacy and then it finally booted, at that point only 4 cards were installed and they all showed up, now I added no 5 and restarted and it showed up to my amazement, and then tried no 6 which did not, although in device manager I am left with an uninstalled PCI simple communications device which I'm not sure how to fix, windows can't find any drivers, 5 is better than zero though :D

Yeah I am using Awesome Miner and MPH very happy miner.

Using miningpoolhub with Nemosminer (script) while waiting... other apps just didn't work for me.
I'd guess it's varying 50-80% of the claimed rates and it seems lower than Nicehash.
It's impossible to tell since I'm not doing it 24h/day and auto-exchanging to BTC which results in no way to recon.
