What version nVidia drivers are you running? Try remove the overclocks on all the cards and try running Equihash again
 
For the new guys you need to understand that when you build a new rig you do not overclock it from the start, you built it and let it run for a couple of days at default clocks to make sure all the hardware are OK and then start to overclock.
Each day overclock it a little more until you find the sweet spot.

You want your rig stable that runs for days non stop without issues.

I agree. I usually run my rig stock a get it going. Usually overclocking resets my rigs etc. But been running perfectly now since June last year
 
Once I re-selected all algorithms it has been running smoothly for last hour or so. Should I still relate to default or let it run thru the night and see what happens?

Run through the night and check your temps. Then if stable overclock and test again

So went back to default and only selected equihash algorithm and currently doing 1.59-1.6kH/s on average - is that good?

Or is it advisable to rather select all algorithms and let nicehash do its thing?

Try and benchmark everything if you can. Remember Nicehash will change algorithms and find out what's more profitable so it will change to find the best. For Nvidia Equihash is good. With AMD cryptonight is stable and profitable and also keep temps low

So should I rather have all algorithms selected and let nicehash choose for next couple days then view online which has been most profitable and select that one or keep it as I am now on default speeds but only equihash selected?

Nicehash will do it's magic. Some algorithms did give me problems and would reset my rig, but equihash. Should be good. Try not too stare at your rig too much. It gets painful checking it all the time
 
I’m using NiceHash Miner 2 - latest download from their website (chose Nvidia version) v2.0.1.8 Beta
Get the legacy version from here: https://github.com/nicehash/NiceHashMinerLegacy/releases

Download the NHLM zip and the 3rd party zip.
Extract the NHLM and extract the 3rd party zip in the main folder of the NHLM.

Run nicehash legacy exe. Let it's do it's thing, it will download some additional miners. Once done enter your BTC address from nicehash and a worker name.

Then click on settings - devices and algorithms
For each you chose the ones below

For nist, chooses nist 5 chose the Alexis miner
For equihash chose ewbf
The rest there is only one miner for each algo
Remember to do this for each GPU in the list.
Hit save and close

Then click benchmark and start. Let it do it's thing until done

Regarding clocks, do you us afterburner? If yes, set your power target to 80 to start with. There is no need to run it at 100.

Set core to 50
Mem to 500

Start mining. If stable, set your core to 100 and mem to 550. The max id go on the mem is 600 and 150-200 on core. Once you have found a stable clock, try and go down on the power target. Some run perfectly fine at 70.

Also, how much ram are you running? Did you set your virtual mem in windows to something higher than 16GB?

Edit, actually skip dagger hashimoto. Think the 3GB cards will struggle with it

I will download the files in the morning and do as you said - need to finish packing as I leave for UK tomorrow - so if I can get all packing sorted then tomorrow will only focus on this.

So far I’ve set msi afterburner back to default and selected all algorithms in NH to let it run during the evening at least (down to roughly R167 a day now on base speeds but it keeps going up and down so not reading too much into it).

Only have 4GB ram now - haven’t changed anything with regards to virtual memory in windows, should I?

Ok so I did all this last night already (stopped packing half way ). Can you just confirm all is correct:

Not sure if 3rd Party bin should have been extracted to “bin” folder in legacy NC folder or if it’s correct this way?

Then in NC selected these:

Equihash is selected further down the list too.

Also set MSI afterburner to 80 power and 50 core and 500 mem respectfully. Ran benchmarks and let it mine over night. Where can I see if there were any issues or crashes during the night?

I left fan on auto.

With regards to virtual mem, it was automatically set to the recommended amount, should I still go automatically change it to 16GB?
