ZEL has come alive at the end of January, a huddle of devs from other privacy coins forking off. They have marked Q3 2018 for master nodes. I am just scared that they may disappear. Big risk for mining and investment from my perspective.

Anyone who has BTC may also claim their BTCH as the capture was completed 2 weeks ago. Just download the Agama wallet from Komodo, select BTCH under SPV and enter your private key as wallet seed. At your own risk...
 
So I did a little “maths” and does this seem correct:

0.65kwh / 650w (total for the 6 cards) x24 hours x31 days = 490kwh per month for electricity? Eskoms site says 1 unit = 1kwh or did I miss something?

Calculations are correct and yes, 1 unit = 1kwh.

Ok perfect so then it is roughly R1000 a month (get around 500ish units depending on when it’s bought etc). Is it possible it could use more - like double that or is it something else using all the electricity in my house?

Yes it is possible. Calculations are not always accurate. But I'd say around R1000 could be right. It depends on your electricity tariff. I am paying R2.04 a kWh unit after tax. Just realised it is most likely going up by 1% because of vat ar increase

Yeah I thought it be around R1000 on electricity extra for the mining but this month it’s been 3x that amount so I’m sure it is not solely the mining machine.

Will look at getting a device to check the usage tho.
 
Screenshot_20180228-074913.pngif you click and hold on each bar for each day it will give you units for that day. You can also see previous m9nths totals. If you want to measure usage per hour, day, week , and month and if you also have the mining rig running of a single circuit from the dumb board you could try the cbi nano view but it is not wireless or internet connected

Sick and tired of seeing this guys posts. He comes into threads with the intention to troll and annoy. Possible to ignore users so you dont see their posts?

@biometrics dont you have something better to do with your time?
